“Sis, who is this? Your boyfriend?” the handsome man glanced at Yang Qingyin, then at Luo Ziling standing beside her, and asked with surprise and uncertainty, “I saw you guys holding hands just now!”

Yang Qingyin didn’t answer, but frowned as she looked at the handsome man and then at the girl beside him, appearing somewhat displeased.

“Sis, this is my girlfriend, Jiang Xiaojin,” the man immediately introduced the beautiful girl next to him, “We’re college classmates, I mentioned her to you before. Why don’t you introduce us to your boyfriend?”

As he spoke, he extended his hand to Luo Ziling, “I’m Qingyin’s brother, Qingye. She must have mentioned me to you, right?”

“Got it,” Yang Qingyin relaxed her frown after seeing Yang Qingye asking for mercy, “Head back to school early, don’t stay out overnight!”

As he spoke, Yang Qingye glanced around, looking puzzled, he asked, “Where are your bodyguards? Don’t tell me you didn’t bring them?”

“You don’t need to worry about my business. Just take care of your own matters and avoid another lecture from mom and dad when you get home,” said Yang Qingyin, then she cautioned Yang Qingye, “Don’t play with that girl’s feelings, got it?”

“Sis, I got it. No wonder you didn’t need me to accompany you for your birthday today, you already had someone to spend it with,” Yang Qingye chuckled and teased Yang Qingyin, “Should I call him brother-in-law?”

“If you dare talk nonsense, do you believe I’ll reveal all your shenanigans to mom and dad, and to grandpa?” Yang Qingyin’s face turned icy in an instant.

Yang Qingye was taken aback and quickly tried to placate, “Sis, I promise not to talk nonsense! Your classmate is really good-looking and suits you well. He’s got quite a presence; he must be the young master of some wealthy family, right? Hehe, next time I’ll hang out with him to help you find some things out.”

“Yang Qingye!” Yang Qingyin really got angry, calling out Yang Qingye’s name word by word.

Yang Qingye immediately closed his mouth, took Jiang Xiaojin’s hand, and ran off like a shot.

“Sis, we’re heading back first, have fun!” After shouting this, the two of them had already disappeared into the nearby crowd.

Yang Qingyin walked back to Luo Ziling with a displeased look and sheepishly explained, “My twin brother, Yang Qingye, is studying at Qinghua, a second-year Philosophy major.”

“Really?!” Hearing this, Luo Ziling was surprised. Yang Qingyin actually had a twin brother.

“I just didn’t tell you,” Yang Qingyin said with a slight embarrassment and a smile, “He’s quite a troublemaker!”

“Well, I believe he’s your twin brother!” Luo Ziling curiously looked at Yang Qingyin a few more times and chuckled.

No one seems to have spoken about this matter; I guess not many people in the school know about it.

Yang Qingye does indeed resemble Yang Qingyin a little. Yang Qingye is quite tall; based on Luo Ziling’s estimate, he must be at least 1.82 meters, which made Luo Ziling, at 1.8 meters, feel somewhat oppressed standing next to him.

Both siblings have good-looking features, but Yang Qingyin carries herself with more grace.

It seems Yang Qingyin has more authority, and Yang Qingye appears to be quite afraid of her.

Seeing Luo Ziling chuckle, Yang Qingyin couldn’t help but give him a glare.

Luo Ziling quickly suppressed his laughter but still teased, “Your brother seems really scared of you. Is it just because you’re the older sister?”

Yang Qingyin pursed her pretty lips in a lamenting way and said, “We were born only five minutes apart. But he has always been unruly, often only listening after being scolded.”

“Today is really such a coincidence, to bump into your brother here,” Luo Ziling turned his head to look at Yang Qingyin, whose complexion was still not quite good, and smiled, “They’ve left, so should we also get ready to head back?”

Both of them had been in high spirits, thoroughly enjoying their outing; however, Yang Qingye’s appearance had ruined everything.

Luo Ziling could guess that Yang Qingyin was probably worried about Yang Qingye telling their parents about the two of them.

The two had not introduced much about their respective families, nor had they asked each other about them.

After what had just happened, he felt even more awkward about asking Yang Qingyin anything.

He also understood that after such an incident, most of Yang Qingyin’s good mood had been spoiled, so it might be better to go back early.

“Alright, let’s head back too,” Yang Qingyin nodded and then with a hint of embarrassment added, “Next time we get the chance, we can come out together again!”

Luo Ziling immediately agreed, “Yeah, I’ll have you as the tour guide, to visit the Forbidden City, Jingshan, Beihai Park. Yanjing has so many tourist spots; you have to show me all of them!”

“You’re quite greedy!” Yang Qingyin shot Luo Ziling a sidelong glance, “Just be sure you’ve thought about what reward you’ll give me!”

“A reward is not a problem,” Luo Ziling chuckled with a ‘hehe’.

A few joking remarks later, most of the awkwardness between them had dissipated, but they didn’t hold hands again.

Due to the crowd, the two held hands on the subway, standing to one side, but after leaving the subway station, they let go of each other. It wasn’t that their feelings had waned, but rather they were afraid of being seen again.

As they walked back to the campus, it was actually still quite early, not yet nine o’clock.

Arriving at a place where the lights were not very bright, Luo Ziling suddenly stood still, “Wait here for me; I need to grab something from my dorm!”

“What?” Yang Qingyin didn’t react at first.

“Just wait for me a moment, ten minutes at most,” Luo Ziling said and then took off running. After a few meters, he turned back around, “I’m going to the dorm to grab some stuff, make sure you wait for me!”

As Luo Ziling disappeared from view in an instant, Yang Qingyin realized what he was doing and couldn’t help smiling.
