The door of the banquet hall was opened by a server. Fu Jingmo appeared at the door in a suit.

Su Qingdai said innocently, “Of course. We’re old acquaintances. He even taught me how to swim some time earlier.”

Gasps came from the table. Everyone looked at each other, but Su Qingdai looked on innocently. “What’s wrong with you guys? Don’t misunderstand. Our relationship isn’t what you think. We’re not from showbiz…”

Su Qingdai’s meaning could not be clearer—she was different from Bo Muyan; he was not her sugar daddy. So, that meant that there was only one possibility—the connection between their families.

Li Beibei looked at Fu Jingmo—who had “snatched” her wine glass—in shock. “What are you doing?”

“Kids aren’t allowed to drink.”

Li Beibei retorted, “What’s it to you whether I drink or not? Are you my father or my mother? Who are you to dictate what I eat or drink?”
